In
              view of the interdisciplinary nature of the meeting, all
              presentations will be accessible to a non-specialized
              audience. There will be a limited number of talks only, to
              give the participants ample opportunity for informal
              discussions in a pleasant environment.

             Registration
                                  is now more or less closed. If you
                                  still want to participate, contact one
                                  of the organizers by email. Please be
                                  aware that there will probably not be
                                  an opportunity to give a presentation.
                                  
                                  
                                 
                  
          
          Practical infos:
                    
                  The
                      conference will take place in Hotel
                        Flamingo in Pula
                      (near Cagliari).
                      
                      Participants can lodge wherever they like; we have
                      however secured some special discounted rates in
                      Hotel Flamingo and in the nearby "Hotel Mare
                      Pineta" located in the same resort (five minutes
                      walking distance). 
                      
                      These are meant for participants and accompanying
                      persons staying for the whole conference period;
                      the Hotel may apply regular rates to those
                      intending to stay for a shorter time. The Hotel
                      will grant these fares also to those extending
                      their stay beyond the conference. 
                      
                      The conference rates for full
                        board accomodation (breakfast, lunch, dinner
                      including 1/4 wine and 1/2 water at meals) are as
                      follows:
                      
                    Hotel Flamingo:
            
          
             
            - Double room shared by
                  two people, 115 E per person per day 
 
- Double room used as
                  single, 155 E per person per day 
 
Hotel Mare Pineta: 
              
           
          
             
            - Double room shared by
                  two people, 90 E per person per day 
 
- Double room used as
                  single, 130 E per person per day
Those lodged in "Mare Pineta" will
                            have their meals (except for breakfast) in
                            Flamingo, together with other participants
                            lodged in Flamingo.
                          
           
          The Flamingo resort is reached by local
                    public transport; other accomodation are possible
                    nearby (including a camping site).

        A
                      conference fee will be levied; this is expected to
                      be in the 50 E range, with discount for some
                      categories.
